Terms of Service

1. The Service

Resume Space lets you build a master resume, generate AI-tailored versions for specific job descriptions, and manage your applications in one place. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others or that you do not have the right to use.
• Abuse, scrape, or resell the Service or its outputs.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the resumes and other content you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

5. AI features and your API keys

AI tailoring uses your own Google Gemini or OpenAI API key. You are responsible for your keys, for complying with the applicable AI provider's terms, and for any usage costs those providers charge. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete, so you should review every resume before using it.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Resume Space and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or intellectual property.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations or lead to any particular outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Space will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
